This is a true "hunter" role focused on identifying, pursuing, and winning new business while strategically expanding key accounts. You'll build and own your pipeline, open doors with targeted prospects, and position Inland's specialized services as the go-to solution in a competitive market.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build, manage, and convert a strong, self-generated sales pipeline
  • Engage decision-makers, uncover needs, and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions
  • Lead presentations, proposals, and negotiations to win new contracts
  • Navigate and resolve challenges throughout the sales cycle to close deals efficiently
  • Stay sharp on market trends, competitor positioning, and industry developments
  • Represent Inland at key industry events and networking opportunities
  • Extensive travel across North America (and occasionally internationally), often on short notice

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of proven B2B sales, preferable in aviation, logistics, or service-based environments
  • Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding targets
  • Strong experience building and managing a sales pipeline from scratch, including prospecting, cold outreach, and lead generation
  • Skilled in consultative selling, with the ability to uncover customer needs and position tailored solutions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined in maintaining accurate pipeline and activity tracking
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer challenges, and competitive positioning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset
