They ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff by performing preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and addressing emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
  • Implementing and managing a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and equipment failures.
  • Addressing and resolving guest maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities,including repairs, inspections, and replacements.
  • Working with other departments, such as housekeeping andsecurity, to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in various hotelequipment and systems.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of maintenance projects, including renovations and installations.
