Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.
Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full agency support provided)
Life & Health license must be obtained within 60 days of your start date

Role Overview

As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus is new business production and agency growth. You will proactively engage prospective customers, develop a strong pipeline, conduct needs-based sales conversations, and confidently close new business opportunities.
Success in this role is measured by activity, pipeline management, closing ratio, and contribution to agency growth.
Responsibilities

Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, community networking, and follow-up efforts
Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective customers
Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products
Conduct consultative, needs-based sales conversations to uncover customer needs
Overcome objections confidently and ask for the sale
Follow up consistently on leads, quotes, and opportunities to maximize conversion
Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and production performance
Collaborate with team members to support agency growth initiatives
Maintain compliance with agency standards and insurance regulations
Qualifications

Sales-dominant mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence initiating outbound sales conversations and closing business
Strong organizational skills and disciplined follow-up habits
