Job description

Sales Manager We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Shot Peening team! As our Sales Manager, you will closely with our shot peening facilities in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Windsor, CT. You will be responsible in developing and executing sales strategies, meeting with key clients, and bringing in new business. This individual will be comfortable with technical sales, travelling 25-30% of the time, and have the creative ability to find out of the box applications for our technology. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to work in the aerospace and defense fields.

Location: Indianapolis, IN Must be able to travel to Blue Ash, OH and Windsor, CT as required.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + car allowance + bonus Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in IN. Your Challenge
  • Assists in developing sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration.
  • Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and promote sales.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • May ensure the effective use of the sales accountability program throughout the division and interpret long and short-term effect on sales strategies on operating profit.
  • Establishes and maintains close personal contact with top echelon customers.
  • Attends a variety of conferences and other external meetings to explore sales opportunities.
