NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Windows Architect.
Details:
Windows Architect
Location: Houston TX (1 day/week onsite)
Duration: 6-12 months
Strong Experience building servers in an enterprise environment that supports Windows Server 2012 and 2016 using automation techniques including VRA. The System Analyst should have experience in supporting customer-facing environments in a fast-paced atmosphere and be a team-oriented individual with the ability to promote the successful advancement of the Team. The ability to interact with other technical groups such as Solution Architects, DBAs, Security and Technical Architects is critical.
Tasks:
  • Install, configure and manage VMware virtualization environment components (vSphere, vRA, vROPS, ESX, NSX)
  • Provide Operation and Sustainment support for the virtualization environment
  • Ensure virtualization systems are compliant within required security standards
  • Develop and maintain O&S Standard Operating Procedures for VMware virtualization environment
  • Build and configure all aspects of server Operating System in relation to provisioning, security, performance, and storage
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with the virtualization environment including Microsoft and Linux O/S.
  • Perform performance testing and Disaster recovery testing as needed
