Job Title: System and Application Technical Lead

Duration: 6 + Months (High possibility of extension)

Job Description:

Candidate will provide leadership, systems engineering support, and system administrations and for performance monitoring systems and a complex distributed data repository. Candidate will be technical lead of a team of system administrators and web/database developers delivering custom web based and COTS performance measurement solutions for our customer.

Required Skills:

Over 10 years of experience in the integration and systems administration of Windows Servers, Microsoft SQL servers and IIS based web servers 

Experience with server virtualization using VMware.  

Ability to review security policies and to then lead direct implementation of associated system configuration.  

Ability to design, plan, direct, execute system upgrades; prepare cost estimates and bill of materials for system upgrades.  

Ability to operate independently in a fast paced environment and provide a direct interface with customers. 

Prior experience directing daily activates of system administrators and developers.  

Applicant must be highly organized and enthusiastic individual

Advanced Windows System Administration in a DoD environment

Advanced Active Directory Group Policy Management 

Experience with AD Sites and Services - Manage objectives in AD Domain Services that implement the inter-site replication topology

Experience with AD Users and Computers - administer and publish user and computer objectives in the directory in a DoD environment

Strong MS-SQL development and administration skills

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking 

Strong experience maintaining system readiness through the implementation, administration, and management via DISA STIG's and other related DoD policies.

Develop and implement documentation including policies, procedures, checklists, and guidance specific to Windows related systems and associated infrastructure.

Strong RMF and/or DIACAP system accreditation processes experience

Desired Skills:

Experience with System Performance Measurement and/or Capacity Planning

Proficiency with SAN design and administration

Understanding of software development life cycle

Previous work experience with Defense Health Agency or Military Health System 

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of degree

Valid Security+ or CISSP certification

Possess or able to obtain Position of Public Trust (ADP/IT-1)
