Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Windows/LINUX Migration Lead to manage the migration of infrastructure from Windows and Linux systems. The role requires analyzing the current infrastructure landscape and coordinating application migration schedules while managing offshore teams.
Responsibilities:
• Knowledge of both Windows and Linux infrastructure (on-prem – RHEL 7/8 and Windows Server).
• There is just about a 50/50 split between the operating systems we would need to migration.
• This candidate would preferably have an MCSE or advanced Microsoft certification and/or Red Hat System Administration certifications.
• This role will be more infrastructure based.
• Experience with lift and shift infrastructure and application migrations would be a plus.
• Ability to analyze infrastructure landscape (Phase I) and create a migration path to be executed (Phase 2).
• Ability to coordinate with customer application owners to understand application landscape and coordinate application migration schedules.
• Experience managing teams (all offshore) and ensuring that developers have the guidance required to keep the project moving forward.
Qualifications:
