Job description

Four Star Freightliner is the Southeast region's leading heavy and medium-duty truck dealer that offers a comprehensive line of Freightliner and Western Star brand trucks for both highway and vocational use.
Essential Duties:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Detailer to join our team in Dothan, AL. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of semi-trucks through thorough washing and detailing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in custodial or janitorial work, and a strong commitment to customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and quality are highly valued.
Essential Duties
  • Wash and clean semi-trucks using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Perform detailed exterior washing, including buffing and waxing
  • Conduct interior cleaning, including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and window cleaning
  • Ensure all trucks meet cleanliness standards before delivery or client pickup
  • Assist with car wash and detailing tasks for other vehicles as required
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and ensure proper use of cleaning tools
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests and inquiries professionally
  • Perform light maintenance tasks related to vehicle appearance and cleanliness

Qualifications
  • Previous custodial, janitorial, or car wash experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
  • Experience in detailing, buffing, or window tinting is a plus
