HR Manager / Executive Assistant
 
NY Monda Window and Door, Inc.
Corona, NY (with locations in Queens and Nassau County, NY)
 
 
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year + bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Start Date: Hiring Immediately
 
About Us
NY Monda Window and Door, Inc. is a window manufacturing company established in 2000 and headquartered in Corona, Queens, NY. We operate four locations across Queens and Nassau County and employ approximately 40+ team members.
 
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager/Executive Assistant to oversee our human resources operations and support our growing team. This role will also provide high-level administrative and organizational support to C-level executives and/or senior leadership.
 
Responsibilities
  •  Manage HR operations for approximately 40+ employees across 4 locations
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
  • Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, NY State, and NYC employment laws
  • Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Support leadership with workforce planning and HR strategy
  • Strengthen employee relations by organizing various team-building, off-site events, and holiday parties
  • Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to C-level executives and/or senior leadership 
  • Serve as a liaison between executives, employees, clients, vendors, and business partners
  • Assist with various company insurance and legal matters
  • Assist with special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned
  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary
Requirements
  •  Minimum 5 years of HR management experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
  • Strong knowledge of New York labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  •  Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
