Job description

Field Service Technician

The French Steel Company is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support our growing portfolio of luxury custom steel windows and doors. In this role, you will travel nationwide to perform high-quality repairs, servicing, troubleshooting, and installation corrections on our premium thermally broken steel products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair custom steel windows and doors on-site at client locations across the country
  • Identify and resolve installation-related issues
  • Manage travel logistics (flights, hotels, rentals) using a company credit card, with support from our Service Coordinator
  • Maintain detailed service reports and communicate effectively with clients and the Atlanta team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience installing and servicing doors and windows (steel or high-end fenestration preferred)
  • Own hand and power tools required for field service work
  • Must live within 50 miles of midtown Atlanta
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and hybrid work (field-based with periodic office time in Atlanta)
  • Valid driver’s license; company vehicle provided
