Job description

The Aluminum Door & Window Frame Fabricator is responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing aluminum doors and window frames according to specifications and quality standards. This position requires the ability to read shop drawings, operate fabrication equipment, and ensure all products meet company and customer requirements.


Pay Range: Based on experience and qualifications.

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure, cut, drill, punch, and machine aluminum components.
  • Assemble aluminum door frames, doors, and related hardware.
  • Install glass, weather stripping, gaskets, and other door components as required.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, punches, and milling machines safely.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with loading, packaging, and preparing finished products for delivery when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in aluminum fabrication, metalworking, or construction preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.


Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing or fabrication shop environment.
