Key Responsibilities
  • Lead residential construction projects from plans and specifications through final punch list
  • Interpret blueprints and organize crews to execute scopes of work efficiently
  • Oversee daily jobsite operations to maintain productivity, safety, and quality
  • Perform and assist with framing, flooring, cabinetry, painting, trim work, window, and door installation
  • Coordinate schedules, jobsite progress, and updates through project management systems
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, internal staff, and clients
  • Identify and resolve jobsite challenges through strong decision-making and problem-solving
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe worksites
  • Train and mentor field team members to strengthen crew performance
  • Represent JJL Design & Build professionally with clients and project stakeholders
  • Support project scheduling, material coordination, and workflow planning

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of hands-on residential construction experience
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage residential jobsite operations
  • Strong experience in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, flooring, and trim work
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with construction management software or willingness to learn
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
