What are screen installers?

Screen installers are professionals who specialize in fitting and repairing screens for windows, doors, patios, and other enclosures. Their work involves measuring openings, cutting screens to size, and installing them securely to keep out insects while allowing ventilation. Screen installers may work with a variety of materials, including fiberglass, aluminum, and specialty screens, and can also handle screen repairs or replacements. This role requires attention to detail, basic carpentry skills, and knowledge of different screen systems. These skills ensure precise, efficient installations and high customer satisfaction, which are vital for safety and repeat business.

For a screen installer, earning $10,000 a month typically requires extensive experience, high-volume projects, or working in high-demand markets, as most entry-level or standard roles pay less.
