ABOUT SHINE
Shine is a premium exterior cleaning company operating across Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Raleigh. We specialize in window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, holiday lighting, and commercial maintenance. We are building the best field team in the market and promote almost exclusively from within.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Van Leads are the backbone of Shine's daily field operations. You own the job from start to finish - loading the van, running the crew, executing the service, and closing out with the customer. This is a leadership role in the field with direct commission upside tied to your crew's production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Lead a 2-3 person crew on daily residential and commercial service jobs
  • Manage van loading, equipment setup, and job site organization
  • Deliver high-quality window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, and gutter cleaning
  • Communicate professionally with customers on-site and address any concerns
  • Complete post-job confirmation checklist before leaving any job site
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, equipment condition, and supply inventory
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on technique and safety protocols
  • Operate Housecall Pro for job tracking, job notes, and customer communication

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and operate outdoors in all weather conditions
  • 1+ year of exterior cleaning, trades, or similar field service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a professional customer-facing manner
  • High reliability - punctual, consistent, and accountable
  • Ability to lead and set the pace for a crew

COMPENSATION
  • General services: 16%-17% commission on fleet revenue

  • Daily pay is MAX(hourly floor, commission earned) - you are never penalized for a slow day
  • Commission increases available through advancement to Senior Van Lead

WHY SHINE
  • Clear advancement path: Junior Tech → Senior Tech → Van Lead → Field Supervisor
  • Commission structure that rewards performance directly
  • Company vehicle - no wear on your personal vehicle
  • Consistent full-time schedule with year-round work
  • Small, accountable team culture - no corporate bureaucracy

Compensation: $1,000.00 - $1,250.00 per week
