Tyler, TX • On-site

Job description

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible schedule
  • Opportunity for advancement

Fish Window Cleaning is the largest window cleaning company in the country, and we're growing our Tyler territory. We're hiring an Estimator to be the face of Fish out in the field.
This is not a phone job and it is not a closing job. Your work is to visit commercial properties in person, walk the building, assess the glass, and write an accurate estimate on the spot. You gather opportunities. You are not responsible for chasing signatures.
If you'd rather be outside meeting business owners than sitting at a desk, this fits.
What You'll Do
  • Visit commercial businesses around Tyler in person - retail strips, restaurants, offices, storefronts
  • Introduce Fish Window Cleaning and ask for the decision-maker
  • Walk each property, assess and count the glass that needs cleaning
  • Write accurate, professional estimates using our pricing system
  • Log each estimate so it flows cleanly into our system
  • Target: approximately 80 written estimates per week, measured weekly

Typical Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm
Pay: $15.00 per hour, part-time up to 6 hours/day
  • Paid hourly for time worked. The weekly estimate target is the performance standard for the role.
  • Optional: if you want to follow up on your own estimates and close them, we'll set up a separate commission arrangement. Entirely your choice - the estimator role does not require selling.

What You Need
  • Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license - you'll drive between stops all day
  • Comfortable outdoors and on your feet four to five hours a day, including Texas summer heat
  • Presentable and comfortable walking into a business and starting a conversation
  • Able to work independently and manage your own route
  • Basic comfort using a smartphone or tablet to log estimates

Nice to Have
  • Previous door-to-door, canvassing, or cold-calling experience
  • Background in trades, field service, or route-based work
  • Familiarity with Tyler's commercial corridors

Why Fish Window Cleaning
  • Consistent daytime schedule - no evenings, weekends, or holidays
  • Full training - we teach you our estimating system and how to approach a business
  • Clear expectations and a real commission path if you want it later
  • Locally owned franchise backed by a national brand

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Fish Window Cleaning has grown to be the world's largest window cleaning company with more than 250 franchise territories in 43 states, yet we still maintain the traditional values we were founded on. We will always treat every customer as though they are our only customer.
Since its inception over three decades ago, Fish Window Cleaning has been dedicated to being a considerate and respectable neighbor in the communities where we work and live. FISH partners with nonprofit organizations on an ongoing basis to support causes across the United States. Through volunteering, leadership, and charitable giving, FISH lives its mission to be the best and most respected window cleaning company in the world.
We are looking for courteous, self- motivated and friendly individuals that pay attention to detail. We clean glass at commercial and residential locations; including retail locations, office buildings, and malls from 1 to 3 stories. Some ladder work, travel between jobs, and minimal paperwork are required. You need reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and a valid driver's license to be considered for employment.
Thank you for your interest in Fish Window Cleaning ®. Fish Window Cleaning is a franchise. All Fish Window Cleaning locations are independently owned and operated. By clicking the apply button you understand that you are not applying to Fish Window Cleaning but rather an independent company that does business as Fish Window Cleaning.
