Job description

Position Summary
We are currently searching for a Fabricator with a basic understanding and competency in welding and grinding. Responsibilities cover a wide range of shop-floor tasks including manual welding and grinding, machine operation, equipment rigging, and basic electrical assembly.
This is a hands-on skilled role suited for individuals with foundational experience in welding and grinding, especially stainless-steel work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stainless steel welding, grinding, and cutting operations in all positions
  • Set up and operate machines (presses, shears, saws, punches, etc.) per blueprints
  • Operate mobile crane equipment under 20,000 lbs. and assist with rigging/hoisting
  • Operate spray foam insulation, sandblast, and painting equipment
  • Perform tinning, complex soldering, and resistance welding (spot/seam)
  • Assemble motor controls and complete three-phase wiring using ladder diagram
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications
  • Coordinate warehouse activities including receiving, inventory, and special orders
  • Maintain safe, clean work practices and follow company procedures
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely;
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, welding, and grinding
  • Working knowledge of blocking, clamping, and holding parts to avoid distortion
  • Understanding of abrasives and metal finishes
  • Ability to lift weight up to 65 lbs. (assistance and lifting equipment provided)
  • Willingness to work in variable environmental conditions (dust, noise, seasonal temps)
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, climb, and lift frequently throughout the shift
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire position
  • Pay rate is $38,001.60 - $46,030.40 yearly, based on experience
