Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Window Covering Installer to join our team. This position involves installing blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and other custom window treatments in customers' homes and businesses. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and providing outstanding customer service.

No prior window covering experience is required for the right person—we are willing to train someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Install blinds, shades, shutters, and other window coverings accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after installations.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and find practical solutions on-site.
  • Measure, adjust, and level products for a professional finished appearance.
  • Safely use hand tools and power tools.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Represent the company professionally while in customers' homes.
  • Maintain company quality standards and complete installations on schedule.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools.
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Frequently climb and work from a 25-foot extension ladder safely.
  • Lift and hold 35 pounds overhead.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Carry window coverings, tools, and installation materials up and down stairs.
  • Work with both hands overhead for extended periods.
  • Work in mostly indoor residential and commercial environments.
