Job description

Position: Outside Sales Representative

Our client, a leading provider of doors, millwork & moulding, plywood & sheathing products, is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their organization. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, a car and mileage benefit. This role is vital to the organization as it involves prospecting, generating leads, and closing new business.

Responsibilities:
  • Hunter role requiring the ability to prospect, self-generate leads, and close new business.
  • Develop new business with Luxury/Custom Home Builders and Contractors. Experience with A&D is a plus.
  • Understand and sell the company's wide range of products including stock doors, custom doors, big doors, components/parts, hardware, moulding (crown, base, floor, window, door, cabinet), trim, millwork, closets, shelving, OSB, subflooring, plywood, sheathing.
  • Willingness to prospect in multiple ways, including drive-by, site visits, industry events, etc.

The position is primarily remote, with the base at the Door & Millwork shop in Auburn, WA. The Sales Representative will report to the Sales Manager and is not required to report into the office daily.

Qualifications:
  • Experience selling to custom home Builders and/or Architects.
  • Understanding of how to effectively engage with the target clientele.
  • Millwork / Door sales experience is a MUST.
  • At least 3-5 years experience in the industry.
  • Proven success in sales and a true hunter mentality.
  • Currently employed candidates are preferred.

In addition to a competitive base salary, the position also offers uncapped commission potential.
