Job description

Winding Operator – 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
Location: Fenton, MO
Pay: $17.00/hour
100% Employer-Paid Health Insurance (after hire & enrollment period)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Winding Operator to join our team on 1st Shift. In this role, you'll be responsible for winding copper wire and building small electrical engines used in refrigeration units supplied to military forces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils in AC/DC rotating machines using best industry practices.
  • Inspect equipment and parts for damage and diagnose issues.
  • Operate specialized repair and testing equipment in the electrical rotating apparatus repair industry.
  • Perform brazing using oxy-acetylene, induction, and/or resistance welding techniques.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as required on equipment in your area.
  • Complete job documentation accurately and timely.
  • Assist in accurate costing and work scope development for rewind projects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use proper protective equipment.
