Job description

Mechanics of all experience levels are encouraged to apply!
WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic who, under supervision, will repair and maintain our fleet of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs preventive maintenance services
  • Conducts safety checks on vehicles
  • Performs service calls
  • Reviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
  • Assists Lead Mechanics as needed
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
  • Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Experience, Education, Certification:
  • Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
  • Valid driver license

Physical Requirements:
  • Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
  • Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
