About this role
Wildpack Beverages is looking for a dedicated, full-time Quality Assurance/Lab Supervisor/Manager who will be responsible for promoting a quality mindset. A day in the life: What you do
- Responsible for direct supervision of Quality and Batching Technicians.
- Reviews and resolves operational problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delays.
- Responsible for ensuring Food Safety and Food Quality policies and procedures are adhered to including but not limited by SQF, HACCP, and any customer quality requirements.
- Determine, recommend, and ensure compliance with necessary departmental procedures
- Audits andmaintainsrecords necessary for quality control
- Assistwith the approval/release/rejection all raw materials, finished goods and in-process materials
- Responsible for departmental non-conformances and implementation of corrective action ensuring all corrective actions are documented and outstanding actions closed intimelymanner
- Maintain laboratory equipment in good workingconditionto include scheduling preventative maintenance and calibration requirements. Stock and order lab and sanitation supplies and consumables
- Demonstrates leadership to QC employees to ensure consistent quality of work
