About the Role

The Account Executive on our Supply Sales team located in the US or in Canada is an integral part of our Sales Team (new business). You are self-motivated and have experience with B2B sales, you enjoy the search for the right companies to partner with, love getting on the phone or into meetings with your clients and can juggle various tasks in a way that your customer's love you for. You will create and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with your customers and work as the primary point of contact to enhance and strengthen our relationships with these accounts ensuring Wildpack's and the client's growth.

A day in the life: What you do

  • Make initial outreach, manage sales cycle and close sales orders on new and prospective accounts
  • Ensure an excellent reputation for service with a focus on customer retention, resulting in repeat business and contract renewal
  • Represent Wildpack on sales calls and presentations and travel to client's offices as needed
  • Schedule plant walk-throughs with new or prospective clients at our vendor's facilities as needed
  • Prepare and negotiate customers' proposals/contracts
  • Strive to meet given budget guidelines, as presented by customers
  • Increase account revenue and identify new business opportunities
  • Analyze changing market demands and develop or revise strategies to respond to recurring client concerns
  • Deepen relations between Wildpack and the customer to identify current and potential pain points
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly, cost-effectively and whenever possible, proactively
  • Build a professional network to identify potential clients
  • Communicate, update, and maintain contact with all clients regarding the status of projects
  • Create, update, and manage client's documents in an accessible folder
  • Work with internal teams and clients on all aspects of the projects including on-boarding, artwork development, additional packaging requirements, and production
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients regarding business development opportunities and areas for strategic growth
  • Schedule and conduct account reviews, including the construction of customer success plans for top clients, to strengthen satisfaction and build repeat customers
  • Work with marketing to ensure vendors work to Wildpack capabilities
  • Work with assigned Customer Success Manager
Qualifications: What You Know
  • 4+ years of Sales experience in the packaging industry
  • Passion for sales! You love cold calling, you love hunting those deals down + you love building that connection
  • Knowledge of the beverage packaging space; cans, paper packaging, beverage manufacturing and related experience
  • Experience working with beverage brands
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Outlook, Planner etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM (Hubspot)
