About Wild Dunes Resort
Wild Dunes Resort is a 1,600-acre oceanfront destination located on the Isle of Palms, less than 30 minutes from historic downtown Charleston. The resort includes multiple hotels and vacation accommodations, restaurants and bars, banquet and event operations, golf courses, tennis, recreation, spa services, housekeeping operations, and other resort support departments.
Position Overview
This is more than a traditional delivery route. The Warehouse Delivery Driver works from the resort's Distribution Center and helps keep the entire property moving by delivering food, beverages, operations supplies, equipment, and other materials to teams through Wild Dunes Resort.
The role combines safe driving, physical work, organization, attention to detail, and internal customer service. Drivers work closely with Purchasing supervisors, warehouse team members, outlet managers, chefs, housekeeping, banquet operations, recreation, golf, and other resort departments to make sure deliveries are accurate, timely, and handled properly.
This role is a full-time hourly position with a flexible schedule based on resort needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A CDL is not required for this role.

Essential Job Functions
  • Safely operate resort delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks
  • Load, transport, and unload food, beverages, supplies, equipment, and other materials
  • Complete scheduled deliveries to hotels, restaurants, banquet areas, housekeeping locations, golf operations, recreation areas, and other resort departments
  • Verify products, quantities, delivery documents, and destination information before completing deliveries
  • Obtain appropriate signatures or delivery confirmation and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with pulling, staging, organizing, and loading departmental orders
  • Communicate delivery delays, shortages, damages, or discrepancies to Purchasing leadership
  • Coordinate with resort departments to ensure deliveries are made safely and efficiently
  • Maintain professional and courteous service when working with internal departments, vendors, and resort guests
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns
  • Keep vehicles and delivery areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Use hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required
  • Follow all traffic laws, food-safety requirements, workplace safety procedures, and resort policies
  • Assist with general warehouse and distribution duties when delivery schedules allow
