Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Job Description

Greet and engage pediatric patients and their families with warmth and respect
Educate and reassure patients about their treatment and oral health before, during, and after appointments
Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and dental instruments ensuring a safe, clean environment
Provide chair-side assistance to dentists and orthodontists during treatment procedures
Accurately document dental care services by charting in patient records
Maintain strict compliance with all applicable regulatory standards (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, Dental Board, etc.)
Troubleshoot software applications related to charting, patient records, and scheduling
Collaborate closely with the dental team to maintain a patient-centric, organized workspace

Salary Range

Full-time $30 - $33 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required
Knowledgeable in dental terminology and pediatric dental procedures

Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Organized, detail-oriented, and a quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work full-time during scheduled hours onsite at Beaverton, OR
