Job description

Prodigi Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wide Format Print Manager to join our dynamic Print Production department. As the Wide Format Print Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the entire print production process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the printing industry, preferably wide format and / or photo related giftware and be comfortable working in a software-oriented manufacturing business. Experience of printing on flat bed, Canon and Epson wide format equipment along with experience of Onyx and Caldera print rips are preferable.
You will be responsible for the print production arm of our USA facility. Working with the existing facility Production Manager, you will be expected to develop the local team, ensuing SLA targets are met as we scale-up operations and introduce more new products and equipment over the coming months.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee print production workflow from start to finish
  • Manage team of print operators; provide training and support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on all aspects of print.
  • Maintain printing equipment to ensure maximum uptime
  • Implement and enforce quality control protocols
  • Manage all print rips and colour profiling
  • Research industry trends and evaluate new print technologies

Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in print production, preferably Print on Demand
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency operating and troubleshooting print equipment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of print production best practices
