Whole Body Orthopedic Rehab is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Williamsburg, Virginia. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and facilitate condition-specific rehabilitation plans.

• Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and the use of specialized equipment to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.

• Establish individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, focusing on both short-term and long-term therapeutic goals.

• Track and evaluate patient progress, documenting treatment interventions and outcomes accurately and effectively.

• Regularly reassess therapy goals and adapt treatment plans as needed to reflect changes in patient condition and progress in therapy.

• Provide guidance and recommendations for assistive devices, ensuring proper fitting and usage for optimal self-care and mobility.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, home exercises, and the correct use of assistive devices to ensure comprehensive support outside of therapy sessions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and staying informed through relevant literature.

Your primary focus will be on orchestrating rehabilitation for patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. You'll support patients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to the specific needs and goals of each individual, whether they are athletes returning to sports or elderly individuals recovering from a fall.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

• State licensure in Physical Therapy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records and familiarity with basic computer software.

• Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in diverse patient care scenarios.

• Willingness to learn and a passion for advancing in the physical therapy profession, with no prior experience required.

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Internships or clinical rotations in relevant settings will be considered beneficial.
