About the Opportunity:
Serve as the primary interface between Pursuit Aerospace and our customers for functions related to business development, sales administration, pricing proposals and negotiations, customer service, relationship management, demand management, sales budget forecasting, and overall account financial health.

Newburyport MA
100% On-site
Responsibilities:
  • Order Management. Receive and process customer orders into the ERP system, and manage customer communications. Work with customer portals as necessary.
  • Demand Management. Proactively manage pull-ins/push-outs to minimize impact on Operations. Engage customers to address unfavorable schedule changes.
  • Delivery Assurance. Coordinate with Operations, Quality and Engineering to help resolve production issues and support customer on-time deliveries. Be proactive in finding solutions for customer needs and protecting delivery promises.
  • Sales Administrative Support. Support Sales Directors & Account Managers as needed with all aspects of customer support. Maintain files for quotations, orders, contracts and documents for assigned customer
Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree.
  • Three years' experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Computer literacy is essential, with demonstrated competency in Excel.
  • Team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication, interpersonal skills, well developed problem-solving skills; solid organizational skills; and the demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization.
  • Ambitious and flexible, wanting to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Material Planning systems preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 10% of time.
