North Trail RV is currently seeking a qualified RV Alignment Technician to join our team.

The Alignment Technician is responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly aligned. This is a critical service that helps to ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicles on the road. The Alignment Technician commonly works with heavy equipment such as trucks, RVs, and other specialized equipment to realign wheels or axles after they have been improperly aligned by driving or other factors. The Alignment Technician must be highly skilled in their field. They must know how to use all relevant equipment and tools correctly and safely. They also need to understand how each component of a vehicleโ€™s suspension works so that they can properly align it.

***Pay rate is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.***

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting tire wear and measuring tread depth to determine when tires need to be replaced
  • Inspecting vehicles for alignment issues and repairing them as needed using specialized tools and equipment
  • Performing wheel alignment using computerized alignment machines
  • Inspecting vehicle suspension components to ensure they are working properly to support the weight of the vehicle.
  • Determining the causes of alignment problems by inspecting tires, wheels, and suspension components for signs of damage or wear.
  • Inspecting vehicle suspension systems to ensure they are working properly.
  • Recommendation of repair options based on inspection findings.
  • Measuring wheel alignment angles and adjusting them as required to ensure proper tracking.
  • Installing new tires onto vehicles when needed based on alignment issues identified during inspection.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
  • Understands and complies with Federal and State regulations
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Willingness to report any safety issues or concerns to management
  • Positive attitude
  • Good Attendance and ability to work 8 hours shift Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
