Job description

IOWA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD - TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION
This position is restricted to current Military members of the Iowa Army National Guard.
LOCATION: USPFO SDB, Johnston, IAQualifications:In describing your experience, please be clear and specific. We will not make assumptions regarding your experience. Applicants who do not fully address the minimum/specialized experience needed for the position in their resume will not be referred for consideration. Your resume must contain your own words. Resumes that are verbatim, from this announcement, any PD's, or any other applicants will not be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to compare item identification against receiving reports and issue request forms; skill in using hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment to move stock; ability to use hammers, pliers, and other hand tools; and to follow oral and written instructions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: WG-6907-6: Must haveexperience in the following:
  • Experience or training in receiving, packaging, and preparation for shipment.
  • Experience in compiling reports, overall warehouse planning, documentation requirements, and accepted warehousing methods, procedures, and techniques.
  • Experience in setting up and rotating storage locations considering factors such as life expectancy, available space, product turnover, etc.
