West Virginia University Health System (SMG) is actively recruiting a Primary Care Physician for Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV. This primary care clinic is located inside of the hospital.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of primary care.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Location: WVU Medicine's Wetzel County Hospital provides access to a range of medical specialties to residents of Wetzel and Tyler County, WV and Monroe County OH.

This is an opportunity to practice primary care in a small town with all of the resources of a large health system. Wetzel County Hospital is a well-established practice with exceptional partners and support.

The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia's largest health system and the state's largest employer.
