Summer School Registered Nurse

The Ulster BOCES Academic Summer School program is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dependable registered nurse for a substitute, on-call position in our fast-paced summer school program. Appropriate NYS license to practice and fingerprinting required. All Civil Service laws, rules, and regulations apply. This is a non-benefited position. The program runs four days per week through August 19, 2026, Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Possible locations include Ellenville, Kingston, and New Paltz School Districts.

Civil Service Classification: Non-Competitive

Rate of Pay: $159.00/day

General Responsibilities: Provide care for and administer medications to school age children in an educational setting. Work Schedule: Varies as needed. Specific Duties: Perform exams, administer medications, maintain, record, and report required documentation of care provided to children.
