Position Summary
The Corrugator Operator - Dry End is responsible for operating and maintaining the dry end of the corrugator line, including slitting, scoring, cutting, stacking, and finished board handling. This role ensures accurate board dimensions, high-quality finished products, and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate dry-end equipment such as double backer, slitters, scorers, cut-offs, and stackers
  • Monitor board dimensions, scoring accuracy, and cut quality to meet customer specifications
  • Adjust machine settings (slit widths, score positions, cut lengths) to maintain precision
  • Inspect finished board for defects and ensure consistent quality standards
  • Coordinate with wet-end operators to maintain balanced line speed and production targets
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments
  • Ensure proper stacking, bundling, and labeling of finished products
  • Maintain safety standards and keep work area clean and organized
  • Accurately complete production logs and reports

Requirements/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing; corrugated packaging experience preferred
  • Familiarity with dry-end corrugator equipment and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to stand, lift, and work in a physically demanding environment
