General Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Florida Senior Title Examiner with deep expertise in metes and bounds to lead research, support complex examining challenges, and serve as a trusted liaison between our examiners, underwriting team, and valued agents/customers. This role blends technical mastery with strong communication, mentorship, and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and oversee advanced title research.
  • Collaborate effectively with examiners, agents, and customers to resolve complex examining issues.
  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior examiners to support their professional growth.
  • Serve as a liaison between examiners, underwriting, and title agents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and timely issue resolution.
  • Assist with light underwriting tasks as needed.
  • Manage multiple open items simultaneously while maintaining clear, professional communication.
Qualifications:
  • 10 years Florida title examination experience, metes and bounds legal description mapping and knowledge of Florida real property law (probate, foreclosure, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially in complex title scenarios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Underwriting exposure or experience is a plus.
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
