West Regional Territory Sales Manager

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a West Regional Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Bellevue, Washington!

This role will have overall responsibility for driving revenue growth for Allient Bellevue by providing guidance to channel partners as they develop solutions and systems using our core technologies. The role has responsibility for direct individual sales contribution and will be pivotal in the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual sales quota with responsibility for revenue generation and closing business primarily through our authorized distributor network.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships with distributors, OEMs, system integrators, end-users, technology partners, and engineering firms among others.
  • Provides a high level, consultative sales approach leading to customer satisfaction with the company’s products and services.
  • Demonstrates product benefits, including basic technical functions, and influences prospective customers to specify our products in the system manufacturing design phase.
  • Actively develop pipeline, engage customers, and execute on new business opportunities. This will primarily focus on Allient Bellevue’s latest products that support the Rockwell Automation ecosystem.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, customers, and applications where our core technologies can translate well (i.e. I/O, communication devices, etc.)
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of products, markets, and competitive positioning.
  • Ability to accurately quote customers, collect sales forecasts, follow up with leads, and maintain pipeline of opportunities through the company’s CRM.
  • Represents the company at various trade shows and events to generate interest in the company’s products and services.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions including marketing, operations, and product management as well as with other sales team members.
  • Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • General PC skills utilizing corporate systems and software applications like Microsoft suite of products and Salesforce.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in industrial or technical markets.
  • Familiarity with the Rockwell Automation ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing complex, solution-based sales cycles.
  • Experience conducting sales presentations and developing strategic account plans.
  • Able to work independently in territory and account management.
  • Demonstrates productive work habits in a home office/remote environment.
  • Must be located in Western part of USA or Canada. Territory would include California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, North Dakota, and South Dakota, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
  • Ability to travel as required (~30% of time)
