Warehouse Representative - West Chicago, IL
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | $19/hour
  • Overtime possible and mandatory
Warehouse Representative Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to regularly lift heavier items
  • Comfortable with manual unloading of trailers using hand trucks
  • Basic computer knowledge (preferred)
  • Steel-toed shoes required
  • Must have reliable transportation
About the Warehouse Representative Role
As a Warehouse Representative, your responsibilities will include:
  • Manually loading and unloading inbound trucks and containers safely
  • Pulling and preparing orders for outbound shipments
  • Handling shipping and receiving for office furniture products
  • Sorting, staging, and organizing inventory by size, type, style, or product code
  • Preparing supply orders and packing boxes for shipment
  • Processing returns and return authorizations accurately
  • Reorganizing pallets and racking systems as needed
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment through sweeping, dusting, and mopping
  • Wearing required PPE and following all safety procedures
