Territory Sales Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite)
Territory: Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, and surrounding Midwest markets
Travel: 30--50%

Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Territory Sales Manager to help grow our business throughout the Midwest region. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on building long-term customer relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering solutions that create value for manufacturing and distribution facilities.

At CLR, you'll join a rapidly growing company that combines an employee-centered culture with a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with manufacturing and distribution facilities to develop and implement effective recycling and sustainability programs.
  • Prospect, develop, and manage new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations with prospective clients to introduce CLR's products and services.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and successfully onboard new customers.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying additional revenue opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
  • Develop phone prospecting skills and maintain a consistent outreach cadence, including approximately 500-1,000 calls per month.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately document customer interactions within Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with CLR's National Sales Manager to achieve regional revenue and profitability goals.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure a positive customer experience and successful program implementation.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of B2B sales, industrial sales, account management, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A self-starter with a competitive drive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory (30-50%).
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move materials with the assistance of equipment such as pallet jacks during customer implementations and trials (50-600 lbs.).
