Inpatient Permanent Psychiatry opening in Georgetown, DELocation: Georgetown, DE - Dover 40mFull-time; Permanent Overview: Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatry Patients per Day: 18 Monday-Friday day schedule No regular call or weekend shifts required Phone call coverage:1 weekend per month andWeekly phone call rotation Clinical Details: 100% inpatient, on-site role (no telehealth) 99-bed behavioral health facility Team includes: 2 psychiatrists, 3 APPs + per diem pool and Per diem psychologists EMR: Wellsky Patient population includes: Anxiety disorders, Affective disorders, Personality disorders, Developmental disorders, Psychotic disorders, Substance use disorders and Trauma-related disorders Skills Required: Inpatient psychiatric care Pharmacotherapy management Management of involuntary commitments Diagnosis and treatment of complex psychiatric conditions Requirements: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 5 years of residency) Active Delaware license or willing to obtain DEA and CSR/CDS (prior to start) BLS certification NPDB Self-Query within 30 days of presentation Clean malpractice and background history Must be interested in permanent placement (no locums) About the Area:Georgetown, DE, with a population of around 7,500 residents, is a welcoming and historic community located in Sussex County in southern Delaware.
