Job description

Transform Training Coach

(Personal Trainer)

About Transform Training

Transform Training is a physician-led fitness coaching business located in Wichita, Kansas, and a sister company to Prairie Health & Wellness (PHW). We believe in creating genuine transformations in mind and body that are sustainable, lasting, and holistic. Our N1-certified coaches use evidence-based training methods and purpose-built equipment to deliver exceptional results for clients at every ability level.

We're currently growing and looking for passionate coaches who want to be part of building something meaningful from the ground up. If you thrive in a startup environment where you can shape culture, develop systems, and make a real impact on people's lives, this is your opportunity.

Position Overview

Location: Wichita, KS (in-person)

Employment Type: Full-Time (4 or 5 days/week)

Reports To: Transform Training Leadership

As a Transform Training Coach, you will design and deliver customized training programs, provide nutrition guidance, and serve as an accountability partner for clients pursuing lasting, positive transformation. You'll work collaboratively with the Prairie Health & Wellness clinical team to support clients from a whole-person health perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop customized workout programs tailored to each client's unique goals, abilities, and limitations
  • Coach clients of all ability levels: from beginners who have never trained to experienced athletes refining their approach
  • Provide nutrition guidance and macro calculations aligned with client goals
  • Conduct in-person training sessions with excellence and intentionality
  • Facilitate weekly virtual check-ins for progress tracking, mindset support, and accountability
  • Serve as a trusted accountability partner, especially when clients are struggling or losing motivation
  • Provide consistent positive reinforcement while maintaining high standards for client effort and progress
  • Celebrate client wins (big and small) and help reframe setbacks as learning opportunities

Clinical Collaboration

  • Collaborate with PHW providers on shared client cases
  • Integrate training recommendations with clients' broader health plans (sleep, movement, nutrition, stress, detox)
  • Communicate proactively with the clinical team when clients present health concerns or progress barriers
  • Support the holistic, root-cause approach that defines both Transform Training and PHW

Qualifications

  • Lifelong learner mindset:
Genuine passion for continuing education, staying current with evidence-based training methods, and constantly improving your craft
  • Willingness to pursue N1 Education certification and commit to ongoing professional development
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build trust, rapport, and long-term client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client interactions and clinical team collaboration
  • Experience with nutrition coaching, macro calculations, or behavior change principles
  • rcise.com or similar client management platforms
  • Background working with special populations (post-rehab, chronic conditions, older adults)

What Success Looks Like

  • Show up prepared, on time, and fully present for every client interaction
  • Embrace feedback as an opportunity to grow, not a personal criticism
  • Take initiative to improve processes, develop resources, and strengthen the Transform Training brand
  • Understand that being part of a growing startup means wearing multiple hats and contributing beyond a narrow job description

Transform Training is an equal opportunity employer.
