Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide / Food Service Worker to join our team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky.
Our focus is on providing nutritious, quality meals that support the health, comfort, and well-being of each resident. The Dietary Aide plays a key role in meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Essential Duties
• Assist with meal preparation and food service in a healthcare setting
• Serve meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines
• Follow portion control and special diet instructions as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, dining, and food prep areas
• Wash dishes and assist with kitchen organization
• Support residents during meal times as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Work collaboratively with dietary team and nursing staff
Qualifications
• Previous food service or dietary experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to follow directions and dietary guidelines
• Strong attendance and reliability
