Looking for Senior level Engineer: 7 to 9 years of industry experience.
Wellhead experience Preferred.
Drilling and completions experience preferred.
Job Summary: Responsible for product design and development to comply with customer requirements and established industry and company standards and performance requirements.
Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
  • Interpret customer requirements and apply knowledge of engineering principles and company standards for product design and documentation.
  • Continually evaluate existing products and the development of new products to meet new or changing market and/or company requirements.
  • Develop or review designs, drawings, specifications, etc. of existing or new products. Ensure that assignments meet standards and performance requirements.
  • Assist in the testing, as required, and production of test reports of products.
  • Ensure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Consult with engineering groups on equipment designs, questions and product promotion. Assist and respond to NCR's, SDR's and ECN's. Anticipate potential problems and proactively solve complex problems through creative thinking, using internal and external resources.
  • Assist in the investigation of field failures; evaluate root cause and recommend corrective action.
  • Write departmental related specifications and documents, as required.
  • Provide reports to senior levels of management on progress of assigned projects.
  • Review industry literature and keep abreast of market product trends and technology. Identify and recommend processes for design improvement and innovation.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering) from a four year college or university; or three to five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge and use of ANSI, ASME and ISO Drafting Techniques and Geometric Tolerance; API/ISO Product Requirements; Basic Stress Analysis; Development and control of Design Documentation; Product Design; and Finite Element Analysis
