Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, direct care team members, family members, and other stakeholders to discuss individual progress and treatment plans.
  • Develop and share a tentative schedule of client appointments, home visits, and necessary observations to track the progress and well-being of clients.
  • Coordinate home visits to carry out in-home observations, conduct chart reviews, facilitate staff interviews, and analyze data to inform treatment decisions.
  • Ensure that treatment program plans are implemented effectively and adaptively based on client feedback and progress recorded.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and contribute to discussions relevant to improving program efficacy and client outcomes.
  • Document detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes to monitor client development and inform future treatment strategies.
  • Organize and lead training sessions for staff to ensure competencies in program plan implementation and proper documentation practices.
  • Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits to ensure the continuity of care and to address any changing needs of individuals.
  • Maintain meticulous records to ensure information is accessible to authorized personnel, complying with all privacy laws and organization policies.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and the broader mental health community to facilitate support and development goals.
  • Assist in formulating procedures to improve training materials, enhancing the therapeutic programs available to our clientele.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCPC at Wellbeing Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including both adults and youths, addressing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your engagement with clients will be personalized, ensuring the delivery of tailored services that empower individuals to achieve their wellness goals.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) within the state of Tennessee.
