Portages Health is a Minnesota-based, physician-owned, digitally powered behavioral healthcare company. We are seeking talented Mental Health Practitioners who have a passion for helping others and a deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of youth in need. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals including mental health and wellbeing coaches, therapists, and child and adolescent psychiatry providers, while making a difference in the lives of the youth and families you serve. We deliver trauma-informed, culturally grounded care to families, communities and youth, with a specialty focus on serving Native American youth.


The Role

You will work in partnership within a multidisciplinary team of child and adolescent psychiatry providers, therapists, coaches, and care navigators. You will use the Portagesâ technology platform and program to guide individuals through the complexities of emotional and psychological well-being. You will offer personalized support and tailored strategies to help clients develop coping skills, enhance self-awareness, and ultimately, achieve a healthier state of mental health and wellbeing. You and the team collaboratively guide patients with mental illness and/or substance use disorders, who may also have co-morbid physical health conditions, on their personalized journeys to improved mental health and wellbeing. Work is onsite working out of dedicated space in school buildings and enhanced with our collaborative technology.

Requirements:

What We are Looking For

• Mental Health Practitioner or Certified Peer Support Specialist

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Previous coaching and CTSS skills training experience preferred

• Ability to work 20 hours a week at minimum, with a preference for full-time (40hrs) applicants


Prior Experience and/or Interest in

• Collaborating with team members including mental health and wellbeing coaches, therapists, and child and adolescent psychiatry providers

• Collaborating with and coaching parents / guardians

• Serving the indigenous community

• Providing culturally mindful care

• Serving the LGBTQIA+ community
