MAN v FAT Health and Wellbeing Coach - West Sacramento, USA

Thrive Tribe

West Sacramento, CA

$40/hr

Full-time, Part-time

Re-posted 16 days ago

Job description

MAN v FAT Soccer delivers small-sided soccer leagues, exclusively designed to support overweight men to improve their physical and mental health. Launched in 2016 by weight loss specialists with over 10 years experience supporting men's health.

What makes our leagues unique is that the coach weighs each player before their game, while supporting and guiding players through their weight loss journey. Players earn bonus goals for their weekly weight loss, so the league is decided not only by goals scored on the field, but also pounds lost! MAN v FAT appeals to men who want to get healthier while playing soccer and is coming to Le Five Indoor Soccer West Sacramento, California in 2026.

The program has been hugely successful in the UK with over 8,000 men each week losing hundreds of thousands of pounds since launching in 2016. We now have over 155 clubs in the UK and 25 clubs across Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.

We’re looking for a dedicated MAN v FAT Health and Wellbeing Coach to support the players and ensure the smooth running and high performance of our new league launching in September 2026 based at Le Five Indoor Soccer - West Sacramento, 3940 Seaport Blvd Suite 200, West Sacramento, CA 95691.

The role would suit an individual who shares our passion for supporting men in making health and lifestyle improvements in order to lose weight. The role will include working with your referee on a weekly basis and regular catch ups with the UK and US based team.

*Please note: This role does not involve soccer training the players on the pitch or instructing exercise of any kind, this is not a soccer coaching role. This position is about supporting and motivating players to make healthy lifestyle changes, facilitating a safe and effective session and completing league related admin tasks.
