THE ROLE

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the daily functions of our core brand teams across Wella Retail, including OPI, Clairol, and Wella Color Charm. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director, Wella Retail Brands and plays a critical part in driving flawless execution across brand operations, digital content, product launches, and commercial readiness.

As a key member of a small, highly agile, and fastpaced organization, the Marketing Specialist will gain handson exposure to multiple facets of the CPG and beauty industry, including brand management, digital marketing, product operations, and retailerspecific execution. This role offers significant visibility to senior leadership and crossfunctional partners, creating a strong foundation for longterm growth within brand marketing, ecommerce, creative production, or commercial strategy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads updates and maintenance of the NA Website and eCommerce content database, and process to share  brand assets across both Wella and Retailer eCommerce platforms.
  • Manage core operational marketing processes, including DEFs, NROs, MItem sourcing, and product shipments to influencers, vendors, and agency partners.
  • Support content and asset production by coordinating with creative team on video editing and creation of branded materials such as posters, banners, sales tools, and customermeeting assets.
  • Own digital content maintenance, including website updates, MikMak experience refreshes, YouTube video uploads, and Ratings & Reviews management.
  • Execute paid media operations by preparing trafficking sheets and ensuring accurate delivery of campaign assets.
  • Develop and update commercial documentation such as New Item Sell Sheets (NISS) and education materials, including leading communication for the Wella Education Book.
  • Partner with translation agencies to produce Spanishlanguage assets and ensure timely localization for key initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detail Oriented: Ability to take in and organize multiple inputs, data points and action items, and simplify to deliver a plan while ensuring accuracy and sufficient depth of information.
  • Clear communication skills: Critical to drive clear communication, both written and verbal, across a multi-functional team.
  • Business Data Analytics: Make recommendations based on data, including costs, competitive landscape, owned digital and e-comm trading metrics and trends.
  • Organized Self-Starter: Comfortable working across teams and functions, able to drive focus, gather collaborative inputs, summarize learnings and drive follow ups to closure
  • Resourceful team player: Able to juggle multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing critical work and being accountable for results.
  • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing or Communications or related field.
  • 1 year of related experience or 6 months' marketing internship experience required, previous Beauty or CPG industry experience preferred.
  • Technical: Proficiency in MS Office software. Strong research skills and understanding of Adobe Omniture or Google Analytics, Google My Business, Webmaster Tools and other related tools.

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
