Job description

Truckweld is seeking a Mechanic with Welding Experience.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Truckweld has partnered with the American Welding Society (AWS) in order to follow industry standards. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a positive attitude and a desire to grow your career, we would love to hear from you. 

Responsibilities
  • installation and repair of dump bodies
  • power take off systems
  • auxiliary lighting systems
  • toolboxes, and hitches etc.
  • troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Qualifications
  • 2 years experience as a mechanic in the industry or related experience in other mechanic work. Basic knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems, mobile hydraulic systems (PTO's and pumps).
  • MIG welding skills a plus.  
  • Fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Must be punctual and ready to work at start of shift.
  • Must have basic hand tools.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC) within 24 hours of contingent job offer. 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Required to lift up to 50 pounds. 
Compensation

$18 - $30/hour based on experience
