 Steel Welder Apprentice:
We are seeking Welder / Laborer / Apprentice that will be trained to use specialized equipment in steel Fabrication.

Job Description

  • Understands and performs with assistance all welding processes to repair and fabricate equipment.
  • Sets up equipment properly according to the function and application.
  • Read tape measure and cut materials from cut lists.
  • Follow instructions given by the supervisor to complete tasks safely.
  • Adheres to all company & customer care standards.
  • Actively care for and advocates safety at PIM. Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • May accomplish training and serve as a team member in support of PIM’s programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills:

Working on your feet for a minimum of eight hours a day.

Ability to perform basic math and measuring calculations.

Successfully complete all required and on the job training on time

Safely operate overhead cranes, various lifting devices

Previous experience welding and fitting preferred but not required.

Experience with welding tools and procedures (preferred but not required)
