They handle tools, measure and cut metal, and ensure safety protocols are followed on job sites. While they do not usually perform welding themselves, Welding Assistants play an important role in keeping projects running smoothly and efficiently. This entry-level position can provide valuable experience and training for those interested in pursuing a welding career.
