We would like to hire an intern for a Mechanical Engineer. They would be working on projects related to safety improvements, environmental improvements, process improvements, scrap refeed automation.
Requirements:
Education - Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Controls, Industrial, preferred)
Ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
- Solid academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Basic understanding of production processes
- Solid team skills
- Strategic and creative thinking
- MS Office proficiency
Skills:
- 3D modeling (solid works)
- Basic mechanical engineering knowledge: motors, gear boxes, conveyors, machining, welding, hydraulics
- Solving basic process problems
- Working in team atmosphere
- Working with various teams inside the plant (maint., Productions, Warehouse, Batch Plant)
