Summary:
We are seeking a MIG/TIG Welder specializing in steel and aluminum welding to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding both materials, with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship, precision, and safety. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing welding surfaces, and executing welding tasks with attention to detail. Your expertise will contribute to the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of metal components and structures.
Duties:
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum, ensuring strong, clean, and accurate welds.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding machines and equipment, including pre-weld preparations like cleaning and cutting metal surfaces.
  • Inspect welded components to ensure they meet company and industry standards, identifying defects and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and the working environment, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards, wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Perform post-weld operations like grinding surfaces as needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to welding processes or quality control issues.
  • May be assigned other duties by management within reason.
