Your role
You will be part of our production team reporting to the Repair and Production Manager. Your mission is to support the repair and manufacturing of Atlas Copco pump components by developing technical expertise, maintaining strict quality standards, and contributing to operational excellence. You will contribute directly to how we create high-quality products and solutions for our customers.
Short Description

Your day-to-day
      • Perform precision rework, repair, and refurbishment of metallic pump components in accordance with OEM specifications and internal quality standards.
      • Develop and expand machining proficiency through hands-on use of engine lathes, manual mills, and other conventional equipment specific to pump manufacturing and repair applications.
      • Attend vocational training and successfully complete certifications as manufacturing career progresses
      • Assist with the setup, alignment, and operation of machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC equipment as departmental capabilities evolve.
      • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documentation to accurately machine or restore components to required tolerances and specifications.
      • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gages, profilometers, height gages, dial indicators, and other metrology tools to verify dimensional accuracy.
      • Conduct in-process and final inspections by comparing measured results against engineering drawings, and document findings in accordance with quality control procedures.
      • Maintain strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and 5S workplace organization principles to promote a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.

Experience:
    • Hands-on career in manufacturing
    • Metalworking machinery, preferably engine lathe and manual mill
    • Read and interpret drawings

Education:
    • High School Degree
    • Machinist Technical School training (Preferred)

Skills:
    • Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 140001, and ISO 450001 standards.
