Job description

Welder - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 26.00/hour - Gallatin, TN

  • Our client, a U.S.-based manufacturer of specialized truck equipment and transportation products, is seeking a Welder for their production facility in the Gallatin, TN area. This position is responsible for MIG welding steel components used in manufactured equipment and requires the ability to read blueprints and maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
  • Hours for this position are Monday–Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on steel components according to blueprint and drawing specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, measurements, and production drawings
  • Verify fit-up, alignment, and measurements before and after welding
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while following workplace safety procedures
  • Work with production and fabrication teams to meet manufacturing schedules and quality expectations

Qualifications:

  • Experience performing MIG welding in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
  • Experience working with steel components and fabricated assemblies
  • Ability to accurately measure and verify dimensions using standard measuring tools
